" I am concerned with the overall composition of each painting with the use of formal principles like line, shape, color and form.  Occasionally, texture with washes are evident in paintings.  My primary concern is to make the viewer enjoy the use of lines and curves and to think about the space combined with color and enjoy the overall composition."

My mission statement:

"The labor intense workmanship is evident in each painting."

"My hard edge acrylic paintings are abstract non-representational images defining fields of color that are representative of pop art."

"I perfected the technique of hard edge painting with the use of bold vivid colors as well as subtle colors that are geometric and organic in form."

"Surprises of the curve appear in some of my paintings."

"Many of my paintings are room studies with doors and windows."

" I created small drawings and turned many into a work of art."

" I usually stick to a plan that executes an innate ability with color.  Color complements or contrasts and occasionally a 3-dimensional form is introduced in the painting."

"Each image is thought out carefully with a color scheme in mind."
